Bitcoin Remains Steady Amid US Inflation Pressures

Bitcoin maintained its value around USD 77k on Friday despite U.S. inflationary pressures. Institutional demand for Bitcoin showed some reduction with ETFs experiencing net outflows of approximately USD 500 million in the week, while Ethereum and Binance Coin saw positive movements.

On Friday (11), the economic landscape continued to be characterized by volatility, yet Bitcoin maintained its stability around USD 77k despite heightened inflationary pressures in the United States. The Consumer Price Index (CPI) reading for August saw a rise, intensifying concerns that the Federal Reserve might increase interest rates sooner than anticipated next week. Notably, however, the market's resilience suggests investors are choosing to hold their positions amid uncertain economic signals. Domestically, Bitcoin also remained firm, trading at R$ 397,501.21 in Brazil. Institutional demand has shown some weakening, with US-based ETFs for Bitcoin experiencing net outflows of approximately USD 500 million this week. Among the major altcoins, Ethereum and Binance Coin stood out positively during the session, while XRP saw slight declines. This stability in Bitcoin might indicate a search for safer assets amid inflation risks and global currency fluctuations.
