The Brazilian government has announced that a technical meeting between the Ministry of Industry, Foreign Trade and Services (MDIC) and the U.S. Department of Commerce will take place on the sidelines of the G20 ministerial meeting in Milwaukee from September 30 to October 1. The event is expected to include participation by Brazilian ministers Márcio Elias Rosa and Mauro Vieira. This meeting aims to advance negotiations over the tariffs imposed by the U.S. on Brazil, a matter that has generated concern in the international economic landscape. Both parties have agreed to exchange documents and continue technical discussions, but no significant progress has been made regarding specific sectors or the content of a potential agreement.
