Flexible Banking Solutions Offered by New Tecban Manager Platform
Tecban has introduced a new modular platform for self-service banking networks, aiming to balance digital expansion with maintaining a robust physical presence in Brazil.
In the midst of intensifying digitization, Tecban has unveiled the Tecban Manager platform, offering flexible solutions for self-service banking networks. Highlighted at Febraban Tech 2026 in São Paulo between August 24-26, this new platform allows financial institutions to tailor their operational structures according to specific needs, enhancing efficiency and flexibility of physical presence channels. Key topics include cash management strategies and the interplay between digital and physical banking services—critical challenges for the sector as it balances expanding digital offerings with maintaining a viable physical footprint. Karine Barros, Tecban’s Director of Commercial Products, highlights that 'the challenge is to build flexible and scalable distribution models that ensure accessibility while not increasing operational complexity.' This context is further complicated by the significant contraction in bank branch networks, which decreased by 22% between 2020 and 2026 as reported by the Central Bank of Brazil. While this movement offers operational efficiencies, it necessitates careful management to maintain physical access for over 100 million Brazilians who still rely on cash.
