Loft Expands Horizons in Brazil’s Real Estate Market
Loft aims to expand its portfolio to include MCMV properties through scalable solutions with traditional banks. The company targets R$12 billion in credit intermediation by 2026 across all real estate segments.
Real estate platform Loft has recently expanded its footprint in the Brazilian market by venturing into new property launches for middle-income families. According to Mate Pencz, CEO of the company, the goal is to extend this operation across all segments of the real estate market, including those under the Minha Casa, Minha Vida (MCMV) program. Currently, Loft operates primarily in properties valued above R$600,000, where it acts as a facilitator for financing after project completion. However, to reach more affordable segments, the company is exploring scalable solutions that can integrate with existing banking systems, particularly those controlling the MCMV segment, which is dominated by Caixa Econômica Federal. This expansion of Loft mirrors a global trend towards greater digital intermediation in real estate processes, allowing for broader reach and efficiency in property purchases and financings in Brazil.
